We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe God is the one true God and infinitely perfect. He is perfect love and perfect holiness. He is the immortal and eternal Creator of both visible and invisible things. God rules over all things and is at work redeeming and restoring his fallen creation. God is worthy of all glory, all worship, and all adoration.
Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 6:3; Matthew 5:48; 28:19; John 10:30; Colossians 1:16; 1 Timothy 1:17; 1 John 4:8; Revelation 4:11
We believe God has revealed His existence and power in a predefined order, and in the Person of his Only Begotten Son, the incarnate Word, Jesus Christ. By his spirit, God has graciously revealed Himself in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe the Bible is a completely accurate historical record, without error in the original writings, complete in His revelation of His will for salvation, and final in its authority.
Psalm 19:1–4; Proverbs 30:6; John 1:14; Romans 1:19,20; Hebrews 1:1,2; 2 Timothy 3:15,16; 2 Peter 1:19–21
We believe God created all human beings, both male and female, in His own image. Both, male and female, were created equally in worth and value. Both, male and female, have equal access to God through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe all human life is sacred, from conception to its natural end. We believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity, and respect and that we must honor the physical, social and spiritual needs of all people.
Genesis 1:27,31; 9:6; Exodus 20:13; Mark 12:30,31; Galatians 3:28
We believe that all men and women in the world are lost and will face the judgment of God Himself. We believe the original creation, Adam and Eve, who are made in the image of God, fell into sin through the temptation of Satan and forfeited God's original blessedness. Because of this sin, we believe all human beings have been condemned to death. We believe that all human beings have been corrupted in every aspect of their being, are now alienated from God, and are deserving of His supreme wrath. We believe the need of all human beings is to be reconciled to God, that God alone can rescue us and that through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, we will be saved.
Genesis 3:6–19; Romans 1:18; 3:23; 5:12–14; 1 Thessalonians 1:10
We believe God's eternal son became human. We believe the Word of God became human flesh and is fully God and fully human. The man Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah of Israel, was conceived through the Holy Spirit of God and was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly obeyed His heavenly Father, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, prophesied, was crucified, arose bodily from the dead on the third day, and ascended into Heaven. We believe Jesus is seated at the right hand of God and is our High Priest and our righteous Advocate.
John 1:1,2,14; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 1:27–30; 15:3–5; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:19–22; 2:9; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Timothy 2:5
We believe that Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute by His incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension. On the cross, He canceled sin by bearing the full penalty of our sins, broke the power of death, and brought everlasting life to all His people. We believe that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. Jesus Christ is our redemption, our righteousness, and our holiness.
Romans 3:21,22,24,26,28–30; 4:3,5; 5:1,9; 10:9,10; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8,9; Philippians 3:9
We believe that salvation is applied to God's people by the Holy Spirit who was sent by the Father and the Son. We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and lives inside all believers. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of righteousness, judgement and sin and by His power, revives the spiritually dead and enables the Christian to live a godly life. In Him, we are baptized into God's family and receive the gift of salvation.
Matthew 9:13; John 1:12,13; 3:3–7; 5:21; 7:37–39; 16:7–14; Romans 6:13; Ephesians 1:13,14; 2:5; Titus 3:5
We believe that God has extended his grace to his creation and by His new covenant, people have been saved into the Church of which Christ is the Head and we, the body of Christ, are His bride. The responsibility of the Church is the gospel message, her discipline, her great mission, and above all, her love for God. We believe the purpose of Christ is to reconcile all people to God through His death on the cross and His resurrection. The Church stands as a people who serve, love, and live for one another and their neighbors.
Matthew 28:20; Mark 16:15; John 13:35; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 21:2,9,10
We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. We believe in the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ when He will execute final judgement on the earth. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people, both the just and unjust. To the unjust, judgment, and eternal punishment in Hell. To the just, eternal salvation in the presence of God. We believe in the Day of Judgement in which the Church will be presented before God, blameless, and faultless.
Matthew 16:27; 25:31–34; John 14:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Corinthians 15:51–53; Ephesians 3:20,21; 1 Thessalonians 4:15–17; Revelation 1:7
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen"
